The personal data ESCA collects will be used for the following purposes: To contact ESCA Members regarding ESCA matters, information and interests only. The contacts details of some Full Members shall also be provided to the Seafish Industry Authority who manage the KIS-ORCA Project on ESCA’s behalf www.kis-orca.eu. Such contact details are provided solely for the purposes of enabling Seafish to update their database of individuals responsible for advising them annually of latest asset data information for inclusion within the KIS-ORCA project. Please refer to the Seafish website to view their own Privacy Notice.

The Member contact/user page on the Members’ area of the ESCA website contains:

• Name
• Access group, i.e. read-only, read-write
• EC Member/Chairman/Vice-Chairman?
• Working group they belong to, if applicable
• Phone number
• Cell number
• Fax number, if applicable
• E-mail address
• Member Company website
• Member Company address
• Access login and password to the ESCA Members’ website.

While attending an ESCA event your photograph may be taken and used in ESCA promotional material.

ESCA stores presentations submitted by those individuals attending its Plenaries and meetings. Because ESCA maintains historical records of its activities, all information may be stored in perpetuity unless otherwise advised.

Consent: By consenting to this privacy notice you are giving us permission to use your personal data specifically for the purposes identified above.

You have the right to stop us from contacting you. Should you wish to withdraw your consent for this to happen, you can send an e-mail stating your wishes to secretary@escaeu.org and we shall request another contact to be nominated by your organisation, if appropriate.

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of this information or would like to change your data please login to the ESCA website and access the ‘My Profile’ tab at the top of the screen or send your requested change by e-mail to: secretary@escaeu.org There is no charge for this service. We want to make sure that your Personal Information that we hold is accurate and up to date.

Cookies: The Members area of the ESCA website uses a Cookie which is a small text file placed on your computer. The escaeu.org Members area of the website uses this cookie to provide a personalised user experience. We never use cookies for marketing purposes.
